Barbara Lanciers is a company member and the resident choreographer for Two-headed Calf in NYC. Barbara was a 2007/08 Fulbright Scholar with the Hungarian Theatre Museum and Institute and has written independent articles on American theater for Szinhaz Hungarian theater magazine and Didaskalia Polish theater magazine. Barbara’s original performance piece, Leaves with a Name, premiered at the Peabody Institute in spring 2007 under the mentorship of Martha Clarke and then went on to Baltimore’s Creative Alliance as a City Paper critic’s pick. Barbara has studied extensively with Anne Bogart and the SITI Company. As a performer, she was most recently seen as Baby’s Breath in Taylor Mac’s The Lily’s Revenge.
Jake Goodman is a performer and community organizer. He is a founding member of Queer Rising, a grassroots organization that demands queer rights through nonviolent direct action. His blogs can be found on The Huffington Post, Sh’ma Blog, The Daily Kos, Alef: The Next Generation and Pam’s House Blend. Jake is also a company member of Storahtelling, previously serving as Associate Director. In the theater world, Jake has worked at Actors Theater of Louisville, The Berkshire Theater Festival, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Alma in Tel-Aviv. He holds an MA in Experiential Jewish Education from the Davidson School at JTS and a BFA in Acting from Emerson College. Jake is the Program Associate at Auburn Media, leading the organization’s LGBT work.
